Austin Karate Center is the best and that is 100% attributable to Master Nelson. We drive from Oak Hill in order to go to AKC and its totally worth it. Master Nelson is AMAZING with the kids. He is masterful in his ability to be fun with the kids (and funny), while maintaining structure, accountability, respect and confidence building. Trust me your kids will be in good hands, actually great hands.
Master Nathaniel has been a blessing in our life. My daughter has blossomed in strength and confidence at Austin Karate Center. I cannot stress how awesome Master Nelson and his crew are. His enthusiasm to see his students grow is amazing. He is encouraging the same way through kids to adult classes. He instills confidence, patience and character building in each individual. He shows you what you do wrong but also in turn encourages to strive to do better. My son is 13 and has been attending consistently for 2 months and have seen him grow as a young man in a difficult world.
